New music experimentation- Method Music software

We've been doing experimentations on music types lately and were excited on the results. Here are three of my latest tunes by the Method Music software. This new version is not online yet but if you are interested to try it, contact the Method Music people and make your request. Who know's you might be able to sample it.

These tunes are copywrited to the owners of the Method Music software and the sitter/artist (me).

If you've been waiting for what's new on the Method Music, then let me give you a glimpse of what is coming (hopefully soon -*glares at Dave*). This is a mix using a music generated using the version one of the software. We just added the drums and the rest and you get this sort of stuff. Cool?

From the tests of the V2, I think it will be even better. Dave is currently working on things to better improve it. This is a short one (*glares at Dave again*), I am hoping to get the longer version of the music soon (please?)

neglected..

artistic? well, i've definitely neglected this bit :(
Anyway, it is very frustrating to not be able to upload and share new sounds since they are not public yet my compilation is growing :) and 93% I like a lot. I like rock music that doesnt break my eardrums, that doesnt have a whiny voice with it and that let me enjoy either by just listening or dancing.

Silence

In developing software, silence does not necessarily mean - a stop to an activity. Our silence is NOT inactivity. In our little geeky corner buzzes our computers and new music being created and played. I can't share the new music yet, but to me it sounds like a connection of generations type of sound. I both makes you relax yet you want to tap your feet because your body also want to dance.

Patience, it seems is a virtue we hope you'd nurture here because we believe the wait will be worth it. It is not our intention to put something up which is half done or full of bugs.

Just keep a tab, we'll get there!

A week after the Lifehouse Method opened, there are already thousands of signed-in sitters and a couple of thousand of tunes produced. I am surprised at how well this software was made, it didn't crash even after today's strain of 380% of processing power at work making tunes, putting some sitters on the waiting list because of the demand! It was a real test of the software today and we are proud of its high marks :)

Though this is already launched for public use and that plan for subscription is in place, this is still an beta version. Continued development and research will make this even better. So, critics may love to cut this into pieces - one thing to remember is this amazing piece of software is still a baby and if developed properly could create wider range of tunes more to the wider publics liking.

I haven't played with it again for a while now, since I should give chance for others to enjoy the experience. Some are there to just to scorn at the novelty, criticize the tunes produced, etc. I am not biased and after 40+ tunes, I can really say it reflects your personality as sitter as well as your state of mind. Want to confirm it? I still have a possibility to create lots of tunes. Don't ask why I have it, my husband Dave have his reasons but he did give this lot so I can check for bugs, try the tunes, test the site, suggests ideas, criticize, swear at it and everything I do when testing (next to taking it apart and hitting it with a hammer). It is fun and I enjoy being useful and to help, even if Dave would say how much he wanted to tear me apart (if he can) with all my why, what and how questions. There is nothing better than a perfectly functioning software, this was written singlehandedly it boggles my mind why companies with bigger budget cannot create a perfect software with all their resources.

Method Music - the first of May

Today is the day where users can now sign-up and create three tunes. It is very exciting and the software seems to handle itself so well. Hundreds of tunes have been created since 1:00am today. While sign-ups for the first day have reach a more than a couple of thousand users.

To "sitters": please do not forget to write a comment on whether you like or not the tunes generated so the makers know how you feel and things they need to improve.

In my future blog I will put up a step-by-step guide to using the software. Have fun!
